We are GigaBite, a high school level FIRST Tech Challenge community team located in South Lake Tahoe and founded in 2021. Team #20681.

GigaBite Robotics won the 1st Place Inspire Award at both the Canadian Rockies International Premier Event in Edmonton, Canada in July & the Nevada State Championships in February. It’s the highest honor in FIRST Tech Challenge! This award recognizes a team that is the complete package: engineering excellence, innovation, leadership, and inspiring others across FIRST. The team also placed in the Top 3 and is advancing to the Premier Event in Canada this summer.

Our team’s mission is to create a pathway for STEM in our community through workshops, outreach, and youth engagement.
